Dr. Aleksandra Bukała has served as the Head of Strategy and International Cooperation at POLSA since 2019.  She graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics, in the Faculty of Management and Marketing, and holds a Ph.D. in Management.  She additionally completed post-graduate studies in the field of Automation at Warsaw Technical University. 
 
Dr. Bukała has over 15 years of experience as a Project Manager and Program Manager in aerospace fields, with a focus on automation and robotics for space applications, as well as space security and safety.  Her experience has benefitted from her work with research and science entities, including the Industrial Institute of Automation and Measurements (PIAP) and Warsaw Technical University.  She also worked for SENER Poland as Business Development Manager and CEO.  She subsequently assumed the role of CEO at Creotech Instruments, S.A., in the space electronics domain. 
 
Dr. Bukała actively participates in numerous professional associations, working groups, and committees, including the National Centre for Research and Development, the European Defense Agency’s Capability Technology (CAPTECH EDA) GEM3 group, NATO, and Horizon 2020 as an evaluator of applications.
